QuakerInfo.com Site News

Welcome to our many new subscribers. Please note that this newsletter is published on an occasional basis rather than a regular schedule. I have not had much time to add articles to the site, making it over a year since the last newsletter.

Friends United Meeting and the Dually Affiliated Yearly Meetings - There have been tensions within Friends United Meeting (FUM) for several years between the five member yearly meetings also affiliated with Friends General Conference (FGC) and the rest of FUM. The February 2007 FUM General Board meeting in Kenya brought these issues to a new level, and has caused increased consideration within some of the dually affiliated yearly meetings about their relationship with FUM. This new article provides information and views on this, mainly through links, and will be updated regularly.
