The Atonement - Arthur O. Roberts, Quaker theologian, reflects on five theories of the atonement. He does not pick the "right" theory or provide an authoritative Quaker stance, but rather comments on how the different theories can illuminate what is most important, our actual experience of the atonement, or lead in dangerous directions.
Online Books of Faith and Practice - Yearly meeting books of discipline, often called Faith and Practice but sometimes by other names, show normative understandings of faith and practice of different groups of Quakers. A number are now online, and this page points you to them.

Friends Continue to Respond to the Threat of War
Friends (Quakers) continue to seek to promote peaceful alternatives to the push to war on Iraq being promoted by political leaders in the United States and the United Kingdom.
