Hmmm...I don't think tha's an easy question for any one who actually does those things. here are some dictionary definitions:
Prayer: the act of communicating with a deity (especially as a petition or in adoration or contrition or thanksgiving); "the priest sank to his knees in prayer"
reverent petition to a deity
entreaty: earnest or urgent request; "an entreaty to stop the fighting"; "an appeal for help"; "an appeal to the public to keep calm"
a fixed text used in praying
someone who prays to God
Worship: idolize: love unquestioningly and uncritically or to excess; venerate as an idol; "Many teenagers idolized the Beatles"
show devotion to (a deity); "Many Hindus worship Shiva"
the activity of worshipping
attend religious services; "They worship in the traditional manner"
a feeling of profound love and admiration
So it would be safe to say that prayer is a part of worship |
