Anybody ever read this book?
I read it a few months ago and really loved it. It's written by Scott about his journey with Quaker simplicity, and in it he tells how he walked across the country-side to turn in his driver's liscence on the principle of simplicity. In the process he talks about his family and life and what got him to that point. I think it's a really heartwarming book. |

| Hmm. I would have thought it was a popular book and that at least somebody here would have read it... |

Yes, I've read the book, enjoyed it and admired Scott Savage's efforts to live his convictions. I'm afraid I'm too badly spoiled to take that austere a path, but there certainly are things to learn from it.
Savage, also involved in a publication called "Plain" I believe, seems to have dropped out of sight. I'd like to know where his path took him. |
