Anybody ever read this book?

I read it a few months ago and really loved it. It's written by Scott about his journey with Quaker simplicity, and in it he tells how he walked across the country-side to turn in his driver's liscence on the principle of simplicity. In the process he talks about his family and life and what got him to that point. I think it's a really heartwarming book.

Hmm. I would have thought it was a popular book and that at least somebody here would have read it...

Yes, I've read the book, enjoyed it and admired Scott Savage's efforts to live his convictions. I'm afraid I'm too badly spoiled to take that austere a path, but there certainly are things to learn from it.

Savage, also involved in a publication called "Plain" I believe, seems to have dropped out of sight. I'd like to know where his path took him.
