| my friend was recently discharged from the military honorablysomeone called the cops saying that his music was too loudthe police came to his apartment, and he refused to open his door without a warrant or probable cause, which is the law.and the busted his door down.and they beat him with a billie club, breaking his rib cage and ankle. and they abandoned him in a hospital, strapped on a bed for four hours.they didn't jail him for anything.they just left him there. there are x-rays and the police report to prove this. my friend is one of many recent veterans who have been the victims of police brutality for no good reason. on a side note, police in my town recently shot a man to death, after he already was on the ground, wounded, and begged for them to stop. |

In general, police departments give extra credit on applications for employment to veterans, and many go into police work.
There is great danger in generalizing what appears to be a specific set of circumstances. Have you got any links to news articles or public record in the cases you cite? It would be considerably easier to speculate with more information.
Police brutality is an ongoing problem though most departments have programs in place to combat it. _________________ Romans 8:38-39

| I rhetorically asked if police are anti-military. The point being that, police brutality is so widespread, its victims are even those who are supposed to be respected in our society. |
