I've just finished reading Bill's article about Friends' Christmas experiences, and was very moved/inspired by what was shared there.

Are there similar instances of Quaker distinctiveness during Thanksgiving?

A few decades ago, some Friends fasted on Thanksgiving, and used the savings for I don't remember exactly which cause. This went on for several years.
