My name is Robin and I am 49. I moved to Wylie, TX a couple years ago with my springer spaniel, Harry. The move was so I could live much closer to my married daughter. I am a self employed hot glass artist. I melt glass with a small torch. I am just starting back to school full time to finish a Bachelor of Science. I love to read and quilting is my hobby.
I was reading a fiction novel that contained a character that was a Friend, This piqued my curiosity. So many of the beliefs of the character coincided with the belief system I have patched together for myself over the years. I'm not sure I'm a "convinced" friend so much as an "agreed" friend. One of the Dallas Friends said "so you were Quaker and didn't know it!" and I find myself agreeing.
I am currently attending the Dallas Meeting and today with be my 4th Sunday and 6th time attending a meeting. _________________ Robin Foster |

I was afraid you would ask.
well, it's like this..I am an avid reader. I read more than one book at a time, usually one non-fiction and then fiction for dessert. I am also a self-employed artist and my next check isn't scheduled to arrive until the end of Sept so I am carefully watching my finances. My older sis very kindly sent me a box of books..of various genre.
So, anyway, it was a science-fiction steampunk romance novel. If you absolutely must know, you can send me a PM and I will respond. Frankly, I found the premise (parallel universe or alternate time line) to be adequate, but the execution of the plot needed work. _________________ Robin Foster |
