folks, i'm active on several forums besides this one, including here:
http://isgodimaginary.com/index.html
this is a debate forum, frequented by self-described atheists and various theists, usually christian. there are also several christian-focused friends besides me. it is occasionally hard-edged.
i am uncomfortable as a christian being regarded as representative of the society of friends in a general sense, and would like any of you who consider yourselves otherwise to consider dropping in on this other conversation occasionally. i myself have been directed to worthwhile places from quakerinfo from time to time, and i regard quakerinfo as a home base where i can relocate sanity, at those times when i become dubious about its existence.
i do not in any way intend to discourage christian friends from visiting there, but the non-theist and non-christian views aren't getting a hearing.
thank you for listening. |

| Kevin, you are an outstanding representative of the Society of Friends. The discerments, leadings, wisdom and experiences that you post here are thougthful, respectful, well reasoned and based upon honest religious convictions that you take the time to reflect seriously upon. The time and effort you spend on other discussion boards, I think, is a loss to this one. |
